DeTrade: Five Products, Five Ways to Trade Price Moves

DeTrade is a digital trading platform built around short-term views on cryptocurrency prices.

Rather than requiring users to work through a complex exchange interface, it organizes trading around a straightforward sequence: choose a market view, select a contract type, review the quoted terms, enter a stake and monitor the result.

The platform's Simple Contracts format is designed to make key trade parameters visible before confirmation.

A shared account connects the different products, allowing users to move between trading formats without learning an entirely separate workflow for each one. More experienced traders can also access charts and position-management tools.

The platform offers five contract types: Futures, Up/Down, High/Low, Spread and Tap Trading. Each applies a different set of conditions to determine how a trade is evaluated and what payout may apply.

Futures

Futures is designed for traders seeking directional exposure with active position management.

The product supports long and short positions, dynamic leverage of up to 1,000x, take-profit and stop-loss controls, live profit-and-loss tracking and professional charts.

Leverage varies by instrument and can magnify both gains and losses. Adverse price movements may also lead to liquidation, depending on the applicable contract and margin rules.

Futures type uses a fixed trade amount and a quote-driven entry process.

However, the precise relationship between the stated stake, margin requirements and potential losses depends on the contract's terms.

Up/Down

Up/Down targets short observation periods. Participants predict whether an asset's price will rise or fall during a defined round.

The format uses a shared reward pool, with rewards allocated according to the outcome and applicable rules. A sentiment indicator displays participation on the bullish and bearish sides.

The reference price, observation window and settlement methodology determine how each round is resolved.

High/Low

High/Low contracts use a strike price established when the trade is opened. Traders select a direction and expiry, then predict whether the asset will finish above or below that threshold.

The strike and payout rate are set at entry, giving users the relevant price level and payout conditions before they confirm a trade.

Spread

Spread contracts instead assess whether an asset's price breaks out of a predefined range. The range establishes the relevant price boundaries, while a fixed payout ratio determines the payout according to the contract's specified outcome.

You can define a range around the current price and express the view as a breakout condition. A fixed payout ratio makes the contract's risk and reward parameters visible before entry.

Resolve the trade under its breakout and settlement rules, complementing simple directional exposure.

Tap Trading

Tap Trading uses a grid-based approach in which participants select a target price zone. The asset's price at settlement determines the outcome, with the payout governed by the contract's terms.

It helps you select a target zone on a grid to express a price view through a direct interaction, choosing an expected settlement zone and reviewing its trade cost and payout multiplier.

The multiplier applies to specific contract conditions and does not indicate expected returns or win probability. It offers up to 900x maximum payout.

If the settlement price falls within the selected zone, the quoted payout conditions apply.

Downside is limited to the trade cost. Available returns remain subject to the contract's payout terms.

Settlement rules and Trading risks

The five products differ primarily in how they define and evaluate a trading outcome. Futures centers on position management and leverage, Up/Down on short-term price direction, High/Low on a strike price, Spread on a defined range, and Tap on target zones.

Leverage can magnify losses, while short-duration contracts can be particularly sensitive to price movements within narrow observation windows.

For all five products, traders need to understand the applicable fees, reference prices, settlement methodology, payout conditions and platform rules.

Detrade is intended for self-directed crypto traders who already form directional opinions.
